Abstract
This article investigates the operation of an inclined foundation with anchors used as the retaining component in a carpet-structural scheme for building on a slope. The calculation scheme for an "inclined strip-anchor-slope" system and a hypothesis about linear hereditary creep of base soils make it possible to describe the system's behavior in the process of construction and operation of a structure in the form of a system of integral and algebraic equations. The problem of finding the optimum slope of the anchor hole and the corresponding maximum tension of the anchor cable is solved. An example of such calculation for an actually existing object proves the possibility and economic efficiency of using the foundation under consideration for a carpet-structural scheme of building on a slope.
