Abstract
Refined standard resistances are suggested for sandy soils under a point and along the side surface of piles, and also their reliability coefficients with different confidence levels established by statistical-probability processing of full-scale static tests. The suggested procedure not only makes it possible to raise the transmitted load on piles, but to efficiently use their bearing capacity with consideration of the degree of responsibility of the buildings and structures being designed.
