Bakteriologische Blutspiegeluntersuchungen bei Mono-Medikation von Isoxyl — in Pulverform (Diisoamyloxythiocarbanilid)

Zusammenfassung

Unter den selben Bedingungen wie bereits an gleicher Stelle veröffentlicht (Bloedner, 1965) wurden bei zehn gesunden Probanden bakteriologische Blutspiegeluntersuchungen bei Mono-Medikation von Isoxyl, diesmal in Pulverform, vorgenommen. Im Gegensatz zu der tablettierten Form zeigte sich als Folge einer rascheren Resorption der Pulverform bereits 8 Std nach der Einnahme eine deutlich nachzuweisende Hemmwirkung. Höhere Konzentrationen als bei der tablettierten Form waren durch die Verabreichung des Medikamentes in Pulverform nicht zu erreichen.

Summary

Under the same conditions as reported in a previous paper (Bloedner, 1965) bacteriological blood concentration level determinations were carried out in 10 healthy individuals after the administration of powderized Isoxyl. In contrast to results obtained through administration of Isoxyl tablets — and probably as a result of a more rapid resorption — a distinct inhibitory effect was observed already 8 hours after the administration of the drug. It was, however, not possible to increase the Isoxyl blood concentration level by administering the powderized form of the drug.
