Bronchiale und peribronchiale Lipodysplasie

Summary

The left inferior lobe of a 42 year old woman was removed because of a bronchiectasia, beside the multiple histological irregularity of the all bronchial systeme particulary of the cartillagical scelet was found a large mass of fat tissue following the bronchi in thick cilindriform shape. On the most space it was expanded intramuraly taking up the place of the survivaly developed or absent cartillagical sheets. On the basis of our experiences lipodysplasia bronchialis et peribronchialis is the most suitable name of this pathological process. A similar histological change was found neither in our material nor in the world literature.

Zusammenfassung

In einem wegen Bronchiektasen resezierten linken Unterlappen einer 42jährigen Frau ergibt die histologische Untersuchung eine Entwicklungsstörung des gesamten Bronchialsystems in Form einer Hypoplasie des Knorpelgerüstes und einer Hyperplasie des bronchialen, peribronchialen Fettgewebes. Das hyperplastische Fettgewebe ersetzt die fehlenden Knorpel und dringt gelegentlich bis in die Schleimhaut vor. Die Verfasser schlagen für diese Fehlbildung die Bezeichnung Lipodysplasia bronchialis et peribronchialis vor.
