Zusammenfassung
Bericht über 40 Pat., die vor der chirurgischen Sanierung ihrer Lungentuberkulose und z. T. auch postoperativ Viocin als Infusion, meist in Kombination mit anderen Tuberculostatica, erhielten. Von 35 beurteilbaren Fällen konnten 34 sehr gut bis gut beeinflußt und durch die Behandlung erst die Voraussetzung für den operativen Eingriff geschaffen werden. Viocin als Infusion erwies sich, — im Gegensatz zu früheren Vermutungen — als sehr gut verträglich und gut wirksam.
Summary
Report about 40 patients undergoing treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis, who all received Viocin as an infusion preoperatively and some of them also post-operatively, usually combined with other antituberculosis drugs.
Of 35 evaluated cases there were 34 with very good to good results, whereby this treatment was the predominant in making an operation possible.
Viocin as infusion showed itself — in contrast to provious opinions — as well tolerated and very effective.
