Abstract

The far-infrared spectrum of cyclotron resonance absorption in the valence band of p-type germanium has been calculated using 6 × 6 k*p Hamiltonian for degenerate valence band for magnetic field 20T and lattice temperature 77K. That has been shown that excitation by pulseCO 2 laser radiation can lead to the amplification on light hole cyclotron resonance.
