Abstract

A techique of two-stage repair of severe proximal hypospadias associated with bifid scrotum is described. The first repair consists of concurrent chordectomy and scrotoplasty with urethral mobilization. The second and final repair is urethroplasty from the anteriorly mobilized meatus to the tip of the glans with glansplasty and meatoplasty. The advantage of this modification is discussed by comparing it with techniques described before.
