Congenital arteriovenous renal fistula

Abstract

A case of congenital arteriovenous fistula is described. It is a rare phenomenon, with uncleared etiology. The main urological feature is haematuria. Treatment consists in either nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, ligation of the communicating vessels, or arterial embolization.
