Abstract
One hundred and forty-four patients with vesicoureteral reflux were followed for an average of one year or greater. Forty per cent of the patients followed on conservative management ceased to reflux. Of those undergoing reimplantation, 90% achieved surgical success, and about 70% achieved bacteriological success. The data suggest that not all reflux need be considered for surgery primarily.
