Abstract

Observations made over two years in connexion with posterior vertical lumbotomy are described. Especially good results have been obtained in children, lean and asthenic individuals. Nepropexy, pyelolithotomy, removal of calculi from the upper ureteral tract, removal of hypoplastic or cirrhotic kidneys are preferably performed from posterior vertical lumbar approach.
