Abstract
Late results of surgery for renal tumour at the Dept. (3, 5, 10 years) were analysed. The effect of different factors such as stage of the disease, method of treatment, clinical symptoms, age, histology of the tumour, on the prognosis was studied. The authors arrived at the conclusion that one of the most significant factors affecting prognosis is the grade of local and general extension of the tumour. Early diagnosis is of paramount importance in favourable prognosis.
