Traffic noise: annoyance estimation in Geneva and Scandinavia

Zusammenfassung

Auf Grund einer Befragung wird die Belästigung durch den Verkehrslärm untersucht. Die Auswertung ergibt zwischen 17 und 22 Uhr eine gute Korrelation zwischen dem prozentualen Anteil der belästigten Personen und der Anzahl schwerer Motorfahrzeuge. Die Ergebnisse in Genf sind dieselben wie in Skandinavien.

Summary

Annoyance among persons exposed to traffic noise has been studied using an interview technique. Results show a better correlation between annoyance and the number of heavy vehicles between 5–10 p.m. than the LEq values. The same reactions were measured in Geneva and Scandinavia.
