Zur Epidemiologie des Medikamentenkonsums in der Schweiz

Summary

A description of the consumption patterns of medicaments is given on the base of a survey taken of 1081 randomly selected persons between the ages of 15 and 74, originating from all three parts of Switzerland. On the whole, the data show a high inclination among the population to manipulate one's own condition by the intake of medicaments. Particularly among the younger age groups, the inclination to self-medication is high.

1081 personnes, de 15 à 74 ans, choisies par hasard, dans les trois régions du pays, ont été interrogées sur leurs habitudes de consommation de médicaments. Les résultats de cette enquête révèlent la tendance générale de la population à vouloir modifier son état de santé par l'absorption de médicaments. Chez les jeunes, notamment, le taux d'auto-médication est particulièrement élevé.
