Summary

Cigarette puffing behavior and depth of inhalation (expired CO) were measured in 110 non successful abstainers when smoking their habitual brand. CO-uptake was similar for smokers of all types of cigarettes (0.1–1.7 mg nicotine yield).

Résumé

Une analyse quantitative de bouffées de cigarette et d'inhalation (CO exhalé) a été effectuée chez 110 fumeurs récidivistes fumant leurs marques habituelles de cigarette. L'absorption de CO était semblable pour les fumeurs de toutes marques de cigarette (contenant entre 0.1 et 1.7 mg de nicotine).
