Summary
A study carried out in March 1982 in three villages showed that malaria was meso-endemic, probabely due to relatively high altitude (2'000–3'000 feet) and low seasonal transmission.
The authors claimed that in such conditions, early treatment of attacks especially among children should be a better control measure than focused or generalized chenoprophylaxis.
