Summary

Structure, array, and occurrence of membrane-associated tubules during light-induced etioplastchloroplast transformation of barley are described. The possible function of the tubules during the lag-phase of chlorophyll-synthesis for the formation of primary thylakoids is discussed.

Zusammenfassung

Struktur, Anordnung und Vorkommen membranassoziierter Tubuli während der lichtinduzierten Etioplasten-Chloroplastenumbildung werden beschrieben. Die Beteiligung dieser Tubuli an der Primärthylakoidbildung wird diskutiert.
