Zusammenfassung
Die Arbeit problematisiert in einem ersten Teil den Begriff der «Alkoholbedingtheit»; dabei wird betont, dass Raten alkoholbedingter Unfälle auch durch Veränderungen des öffentlichen Problembewusstseins beeinflusst werden. In einem zweiten Teil werden kurz die alkoholbedingten Anteile an Unfällen verschiedener Art referiert. In einem dritten Teil schliesslich wird anhand ausländischer Studien die Wirkung sowohl primär- als auch sekundärpräventiver Massnahmen diskutiert. Es wird gefolgert, dass mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit nur die Kombination verschiedener Massnahmen Erfolg verspricht.
Résumé
Dans une première partie, le présent travail problématise le concept de «dû à l'alcool»; il est souligné à ce propos que les taux d'accidents dus à l'alcool sont également influencés par des modifications de la conscience qu'a le grand public de cette problématique. Dans une seconde partie, les parts dues à l'alcool d'accidents de types divers sont brièvement exposées. Enfin, dans une troisième partie, l'efficacité de mesures préventives tant primaires que secondaires est discutée sur la base d'études étrangères. La conclusion en est que, fort probablement, seule la combinaison de mesures diverses est susceptible de garantir le succès de la prévention.
Summary
In its first part the article questions the notion of alcohol-related accidents. It is stressed that the rates of alcohol-related accidents are influenced by changes of the public consciousness of problems. In the second part the share of alcohol involvement in accidents of various nature is shortly indicated. Finally, in the third part, the effect of primary and secondary prevention is discussed, based on foreign studies. It is concluded that there is a high probability that only a combination of various measures will bring success.
