Infrared studies of low temperature adsorption of oxygen on NiO surface

Infrared studies on the adsorption of O2 and its interaction with CO on NiO surface at 77 K have been performed. The bands of O 2 ions and neutral O2 molecules bonded to surface Ni atoms have been detected.
