Mobility as a product

Conclusion

In conclusion the two new areas that offer the widest opportunities for development are the following:

  1. 1.

Mobility in the sense of a product — the automobile — dealt with as part of a larger system.

  2. 2.

Automobile disassembly as part of an extended industrialisation.

Development of these areas will, however, also involve a revolution in both the product and the means of production. As the rules of the game are reopened to discussion, collective labour will find opportunities to play a crucial role in influencing development. The contradictions that now exist in relation to mobility as well as to the disassembly if the product, will become ever more apparent, as will the need for technical solutions — at both managerial and the social level — for the product's integration. The problem of integration will, in fact, represent the key issue which will determine the nature of future conflicts in both geographical and social terms.
