An Hand von 3 Krankengeschichten wird ein otomikroskopischer Trommelfellbefund beschrieben, der nur bei operationsreifem Empyem des Warzenfortsatzes vorkommt und deshalb differentialdiagnostisch von großer Bedeutung ist.
