The structure of amines and their catalytic activity in the copolymerization of epoxides with cyclic anhydrides

The copolymerization of epoxides with cyclic anhydrides has been studied using the reaction of 2-hydroxy-4-(2,3-epoxypropoxy)benzophenone with phthalic anhydride in o-xylene catalyzed by different amines as a model reaction. The rate constants of copolymerization have been determined and the influence of the amine structure on the catalytic activity is discussed.

Сополимеризация эпоксидов с циклическими ангидридами была исследована на модельной реакции 2-гидрокси-4-(2,3-эпоксипропокси) бензофенона с фталевымангидридом в о-ксилоле, катализированной различными аминами. Были определены константы скорости сополимеризации и обсуждается влияние структуры амина на его каталитичеслую активность в процессе сополимеризации.
