Abstract
The results of studies of the piezospectroscopic effect for II–VI semiconductor compounds having a tendency toward polymorphism and polytypy are given and the deformation potentials of materials with different composition and structure are analyzed. The results obtained allow one to calculate the stress for II–VI heteroepitaxial structures.
