Hansenula sydowiorum sp.n.

Abstract

Three strains of an undescribedHansenula species were recovered from frass of a Bostrichid beetle,Sinoxylon ruficorne, infesting moribund specimens ofCombretum apiculatum in the vicinity of Groblersdal in the Transvaal. A description of the new species.H. sydowiorum is given.
