Disproportionation of ethylbenzene over SAPO-40

Abstract

SAPO-40 exhibits strong acid sites which catalyze the disproportionation of ethylbenzene. The distribution of diethylbenzene isomers suggests a high void volume in the structure of this molecular sieve.
