Mechanism of cool-flame propane oxidation

Abstract

Direct data on free radicals in cool flames of the propane-oxygen mixture have been obtained. The concentrations of peroxy radicals in cool flame is approximately 15 times higher than in the preflame region at the same temperature (330°C). Acetaldehyde additive extends the cool-flame temperature region.

Abstract

Получены прямые данные о радикалах в холодных пламенах пропан-кислородных смесей. Концентрация перекисных радикалов в холодном пламени в 15 раз превышает концентрацию в предпрламенной зоне при той же температуре (330°C). Показано, что добавки ацетальдегида расширяют температурную область холодных пламен.
