The electronic state of promoted Pt/Al2O3 catalysts and their activity in the dehydrocyclization of sec-butylbenzene

Abstract

The catalytic dehydrocyclization of sec-butylbenzene on a modified SB-RD-150 industrial catalyst has been studied. The Pt/Al2O3 catalyst has been modified by promotion with Pd, Ir, Co, Re, Au; the metal concentration was 0.6%. Some correlations between the electronic properties of the metallic components in the promoted catalysts and their catalytic acivity in the dehydrocyclization of sec-butylbenzene have been estableshed.

Abstract

Была исследована каталитическая дегидроциклизация вторбутибензола на модифицированном промышленном катализаторе SB-RD-150. Катализатор Pt/Al2O3 был модифицирован промотированием с помощью Pd, Ir, Co, Re и Au; концентрация металла была 0,6%. Были определены некоторые корреляции между электронными свойствами металлических компонентов в промотированных катализаторах и их каталитической активностью в дегидроциклизации втор-бутилбензола.
