Interaction of hydrogen with Fe−MgO catalysts studied by magnetic methods and infrared spectroscopy

Abstract

The interaction of hydrogen with Fe−MgO catalaysts reduced at 700°C was studied up to 500°C by magnetic methods and infrared spectroscopy. Experimental results are consistent with the following process: Fe3++3/2H2 ⇌ Fe+3H+, where H+ ions react with basic sites of MgO. It is suggested that H2 can be activated via this step in both ammonia and Fischer-Tropsch syntheses.

Взаимодействие водорода с Fe−MgO катализаторами, восстановленными при 700 °C, было исследовано вплоть до 500 °C с помощью магнитных методов и ИК спектроскопии. экспериментальные результаты находятся в согласии со следующим процессом: Fe3++3/2H2⇌Fe+3H+, где ионы H+ реагируут с основными активными центрами MgO. Полагается, что H2 может быть активирован зтой ступенью в синтезах аммиака и фишера-Тропша.
