Abstract
Cu/Cr/Ba based catalysts were found to be nonprecious metal catalysts that can selectively oxidize CO in a H2-containing stream. The CO concentration in the methanol reformer effluent can be reduced from 1–2 mol% to about 0.3 mol% with only a very small extent of H2 oxidation.
