Influence of acrolein on the oxidation of propylene over a multicomponent oxide catalyst

Abstract

The autocatalytic effect of acrolein in the oxidation of propylene over a complex molybdenum containing oxide catalyst has been observed. A mechanism for the modification of the catalyst surface is proposed and a kinetic equation for the rate of acrolein formation is given.

Обнаружено автокаталитическое действие акролеина при окислении пропилена в акролеин на сложном молибденсодержащем окисном катализаторе. Предложены механизм модифицирования поверхности катализатора и кинетическое уравнение скорости образования акролеина.
