Abstract
Gravimetric measurements show that SO2 is chemisorbed on fully hydroxylated alumina samples. Infrared results from SO2 adsorption on silica indicate that the species are not hydrogen-bonded. Experiments carried out with preadsorption of CO2 on alumina provide evidence that SO2 interacts with free hydroxy groups leading to-SO3H species.
Abstract
Гравиметрические измерения указывают на то, что SO2 хемосорбирован на образцах полностью гидроксилированной окиси алюминия. ИК измерения адсорбции SO2 на окиси алюминия позволяют заключить, что эти частицы не связаны водородной связью. Эксперименты, проведенные с преадсорбцией CO2 на окиси алюминтя, подтверждают, что SO2 реагирует со свободными гидроксильными группами, приводя к частицам-SO3H.
