Experimental evidence for the existence of a Co−Mo bilayer on CoMo/γ-Al2O3 hydrodesulfurization catalysts

Abstract

In the oxidic precursor form of CoMo/γ-Al2O3 hydrodesulfurization catalysts, the fraction of cobalt forming the CoMo bilayer and that which combines with the support are affected by the calcination temperature. DRS and XPS techniques were used to monitor CoAl2O4 formation. The results indicate that CoAl2O4 is formed at the expense of the CoMo bilayer.

В окисной предшествующей форме CoMo/γ-Al2O3-катализатора гидродесульфурирования кобальта, образующего двойной слой CoMo, и фракция, присоединяющаяся к носителю, зависят от температуры обжига. Техника ОРЅ и ХРЅ были использованы для регистрации образования CoAl2O4. Результаты указывают на то, что CoAl2O4 овразуется за счет двойного слоя CoMo.
