Magnetic fluorescence and phosphorescence quenching of gas-phase sulfur dioxide

Abstract

Sulfur dioxide fluorescence and phosphorescence are quenched by a magnetic field. A model is suggested for the qualitative interpretation of the results.

Abstract

Впервые овнаружено тушение флуоресценции и фосфоресценции двуокиси серы в магнитном поле. Предложена модель, качественно обьясняющая наблюдаемые зави-симости люминесценции от величины приложенного поля и давления газа.
