A new IR cell for catalytic studies on gas-solid systems

Abstract

An infrared cell, completely free from metal, especially useful for a kinetic study of solid-gas systems is described. The cell permits high temperature pretreatemnt in situ. An example of the application of the cell in kinetic measurements carried out on a Digilab FTS-14 spectrometer is presented.

Abstract

Описывается ИК кювета, сконструированая без использования металла и таким образом, специально применимая в кинеткческих исследованиях систем твердое вещество — газ. Эта кювета позволяет высокотемпературную предварительную обработку in situ. Использование кюветы в кинетических исследованиях иллюстрируется на цпектометре Ditilab FTS-14.
