Kinetics of isonicotinenitrile catalytic hydration on AV-17-8 anionite

  • Published:
Reaction Kinetics and Catalysis Letters Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

The dependence of the rate constant on the temperature, catalyst and nitrile quantity and OH-group concentration has been established. The reaction is first order with respect to both nitrile and catalyst. A probable reaction mechanism is suggested.
