Influence of alkaline and acidic promoters on the catalytic properties of metallic palladium and rhodium in CO hydrogenation

Influence of alkaline and acidic promoters on the composition of CO hydrogenation products on SiO2-supported metallic palladium and rhodium has been examined. Alkaline and acidic promoters have been established to increase the yield of methanol and ethanol, respectively.
