On the reduced phase of Fe/Mo oxide catalysts

Abstract

The reduction and reoxidation steps of methanol oxidation on a commerical iron-molybdenum catalyst have been studied under reaction conditions by means of57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy. Depending on the reduction procedure, two different phases of FeMoO4 are obtained. During successive reoxidation, both phases are transformed again to the initial Fe2(MoO4)3 at a slightly different temperature.

Abstract

Ступени восстановления и повторного окисления реакции окисления метанола на промышленном железно-молибденовом катализаторе были исследованы с помощью спектроскопии Мёссбауэра57Fe в условиях реакции. В зависимости от процедуры восстановления были полученыдве различные фазы FeMoO4. В ходе успешного повторного окисления обе фазы вновь превращаются в исходное Fe2(MoO4)3 при несколько различающихся температурах.
