Dynamic character of active centers and effect of surface reduction on the activity of pure MoO3 catalysts in the double bond isomerization of olefins

Abstract

The nature of the dynamic active centers formed by the surface reduction of MoO3 catalysts calcined at 700°C, has been investigated. CO, H2 and H2O pulses result in a temporary increase of the activity of this catalyst. Mo5+−OH doublets seem to be new active sites for the double bond shift.

Изучена природа динамических активных центров, образующихся при поверхностном восстановлении MoO3 катализатора, прокаленного при 700°C. Добавки CO, H2 и H2O временно увеличивают активность катализатора. Дуплеты Mo5+−OH являются, по-видимому, новыми активными частицами миграции двойной связи.
