NMR data on surface solvation of dispersed silica particles in frozen aqueous suspension

Abstract

Liquid phase freezing-out combination with relaxation measurements was used for studying the surface solvation of dispersed silica particles. The structure of water-dimethyl sulfoxide complexes near the surface was obtained by measuring the temperature-dependent cross relaxation time of water protons.
