Efficiency of catalytic reactions with periodic concentration oscillations of two reactants

Abstract

The advantages of carrying out chemical processes in forced nonsteady-state conditions with concentration oscillations of two gas-phase reactants are shown for a concrete mechanism of catalytic reaction. For the formation of catalyst surface state providing theoretically maximal values of process cost functions optimal conditions were determined.

Abstract

На примере конкретного механизма каталитической реакции показаны преимущества проведения процессов в искусственно создаваемых нестационарных условиях при колебании двух реагентов в газовой фазе. Найдены оптимальные условия формирования состояния поверхности катализатора, при котором достигаются теоретически максимально возможные значения критериев качества процесса.
