Influence of the temperature of calcination on the catalytic properties and specific surface area of Ni, Fe oxide catalysts

Abstract

The influence of the temperature of calcination of Ni, Fe oxide catalysts on some of their physico-chemical and catalytic properties was investigated. The catalytic test reactions were the decomposition of isopropyl alcohol and the cracking of cumene. The phase boundary surfaces of the NiO−Fe2O3−NiFe2O4 system seem to be the main source of the catalytic activity of these oxides.

Было исследовано влияние температуры кальцинирования окислов Ni и Fe на их физико-химнческие и каталитические свойства. Проба каталитического действия была исследована на разложении изопропилового спирта и крекинге кумена. Источники каталитической активности этих окислов находятся на поверхности раздела системы NiO−Fe2O3−NiFe2O4.
