Colonic obstruction secondary to incarcerated spigelian hernia

Abstract

A previously unreported case of colonie obstruction secondary to incarcerated spigelian hernia is presented. The diagnosis was suspected preoperatively, based on the results of a barium-enema examination. Available diagnostic techniques are reviewed.
