Abstract
Sulphur requirements ofCurvularia pallescens, Alternaria citri, andA. tenuis have been studied. The fungi exhibited selectivity towards different sulphur compounds. Magnesium sulphate gave best growth and sporulation of the three fungi and it could not be replaced by any other sulphur compound.
