Summary
To establish the term of pseudomacroconidium the autor presents the differences between the true and pseudomacroconidia. On this basis he proves that the growths which were considered byDurie &Frey, Rieth et al. as macroconidia do not comply with the concept of true macroconidia and can not be regarded as specific or possessing type-determining qualities. Their existence is attributed to the To-Ka-Va system (keratinization).
