The isolation of Chrysosporium keratinophilum (Frey) Carmichael 1962 and similar fungi from Czechoslovakian soil

Summary

In searching for keratinophilic fungi especially Dermatophytes in the soil and on small mammals in Czechoslovakia a number of fungi were found which correspond with descriptions of some species of the genusChrysosporium Corda 1833 as presented inCarmichael's paper (1962). Brief descriptions of these isolates are given. This study can add to knowledge of this genus, especially of geographic distribution of some species.
