Invited Papers, Concluding Remarks

Abstract

Results obtained from the great variety of recent experimental as well as of theoretical studies which have been carried out on Nd−Fe−B type permanent magnets are reviewed. The present article is organized in two main parts, the first being concerned with investigations of the intrinsic magnetic properties, the second one treating the efforts for designing a permanent magnet material suitable for specific technical applications.
