Dependence of the mean luminosity of flare stars on the age of the system

Abstract

We study the luminosity of the brightest flare star and the mean luminosity of flare stars in a system as functions of the age of the system. We obtain estimates for the mean value and variance of the initial luminosity function of flare stars.
