Untersuchungen über die Rolle des 5-Hydroxytryptamin bei allergischen und rheumatischen Erkrankungen sowie über die Beeinflußbarkeit des Blutserotoninspiegels durch ACTH und Glucocorticoide

Zusammenfassung

  1. 1.

    Der Serotoningehalt des Blutes von Patienten mit allergischen Erkrankungen und fieberhaftem Rheumatismus unterscheidet sich nicht von dem normaler Vergleichspersonen. Bei der primär-chronischen Polyarthritis ist das 5-Hydroxytryptamin im Blut und in den Thrombocyten vermindert.

  2. 2.

    Nach Adrenalektomie sinkt der Serotoningehalt im Rattenserum ab.

  3. 3.

    Die einmalige Applikation von 25 E ACTH beeinflußt die Serotoninkonzentration des Blutes nicht. Dagegen nimmt der 5-Hydroxytryptamingehalt von Blut und Thrombocyten nach Verabreichung von Glucocorticoiden zu.
