Summary
A regulating device is described which may be used to set and to regulate the subatmospheric pressure level obtained in a chamber by a pump. In a given range this is independent of variations of the work done by the pump and of variations of the load represented by a current flow of gas. The regulator has been applied for low pressure recording of exspiratory pCO2 with an infrared analyser in cats.

Ein Regler wird beschrieben, der verwendet werden kann, um den durch eine Pumpe in einem Gefäß hergestellten Unterdruck auf einen gewünschten Wert einzustellen. Dieser ist in weitem Bereich von Schwankungen der Pumpenleistung und von Schwankungen des Gaszustroms in einer Verbraucherleitung unabhängig. Der Regler wurde verwendet bei der Unterdruckmethode der Registrierung des exspiratorischen CO2-Drucks mit Infrarotanalysator.
