Continuous electronic recording of pressure changes in the biliary ducts

Summary

An actual continuous electronic recording of pressure changes in the biliary duct is described. The procedure can be carried out only in patients with a T-tube in the choledochus about 14 days after operation. Some pressure tracings are reported as examples. Especially the apparatur is able to record Typ III waves as long as desirable.

Zusammenfassung

Eine Methode zur kontinuierlichen, elektronischen Registrierung von Druckwerten in den Gallenwegen wird beschrieben. Die Messungen erfolgten im Mittel 14 Tage nach der Cholecystektomie über eine gut eingestellte T-Drainage. Einige Kurvenbeispiele werden angeführt. Das Verfahren bietet die Möglichkeit, pathologische Gallendrucke, denen Typ III-Wellen zugrunde liegen, über eine beliebig lange Zeitdauer zu verfolgen.
