Abstract
In a case characterized by progressive generalized dystonic paraplegia with amyotrophy and mental deficiency, CT scanning shows a bilateral lenticular nucleus hypodensity. A similar picture can be found in Wilson disease. However, this patient presented no biochemical, hepatic or ocular abnormalities.

In un caso caratterizzato da una progressiva paraplegia distonica generalizzata con amiotrofia e deficit mentale, il CT scan mostra una ipodensità bilaterale del nucleo lenticolare. Un quadro simile si rileva nella malattia di Wilson. Tuttavia, in questo paziente, non furono riscontrate anomalie biochimiche, epatiche o oculari.
